Rockwool Loose Mineral Wool/slag Wool
Rockwool Loose Mineral Wool is produced from molten selected rocks. The Mineral Wool is an ideal material for most insulation applications because of its favourable handling and application characteristics. Loose Mineral Wool can be used for insulating cavity of irregular dimension in equipments, tank, pipeline, oven, furnace, car exhaust, chimney walls etc. It is highly suitable especially where performance insulation is difficult to apply. It is fire proof, dirt proof and moisture resistant. Chemically, it neither reacts nor accelerates corrosion. It is durable, odourless, easy to handle and store and conforms to IS:3677. The density of wool to be used depends on the thermal conductivity required.
Loose Mineral Wool is available in HDPE bags of 40 kg and can be used in a wide range of temperatures of -50oC to 750oC.
